The Coors Tent is a FREE beer gardens located south the grandstand arena. Fairgoers can experience top regional bands performing every night and a chance to boot scoot and boogie. The Coors tent is a great place to take in good music and good company. Open from the hours of 1 pm to 2 am.
Experience the German culture as the Rushmore German Club celebrates Sommerfest during the Central States Fair. The nationally know German tent has been a hit at the fair since 1982 for all ages both young and old. Patrons can experience accordion style music, German food, a staff dressed accordingly to German tradition, and let’s not forget the BEER!
Throughout the week patrons pack the blue and white tent and loose themselves in Polka music, the chicken dance, and socializing with good friends. The German Tent is open from noon to midnight daily. However, admission is taken each night beginning at 7 pm.
