Lessons on Mentorship is for coaches, teachers, business people, professional people, student leaders and especially parents. This unique and entertaining training session uses an untrained, unbroken, never ridden before horse to illustrate an approach to healthy relationships and excellent performance by cultivating the heart. This dynamic visual has proven beneficial to all levels of mentorship. Opportunity to incorporate this powerful training into your sports program, classroom, business or family is made a possible by a follow-up curriculum, Character Matters, which will be available for purchase at the event.
"Unlike anything you've ever seen or experienced before - guaranteed!"
"One of the most unique and powerful programs in the country! Great insights on how to capture the hearts of those you're leading!"

Bob Parsons is the Midwest Director of COIN Sports Outreach. Bob is the organizer of the April 26, 2017 event, The Horse Whisperer, Dr. Lew Sterrett, at the Central States Fairgrounds Event Center. Bob also organized events with Tim Tebow in 2015 and Bethany Hamilton, the Soul Surfer, in 2016. Besides an annual community outreach event, COIN works with coaches throughout the year using the Character Matters (CM) curriculum. COIN is a ministry with the purpose of reaching coaches with the gospel, encouraging them in their faith and strengthening them in their commitment to Christ. We want to help coaches maximize their influence in their personal, family and professional lives by working through and with local churches.
Bob graduated from Dakota Wesleyan University, Mitchell, SD, in 1982. He was a teacher/coach in Kimball, SD, 1982-84, and then Custer, SD, 1984-96. He was a missionary in Ecuador, South America, 1997-2001. Bob and his family moved back to Custer where he was the Area Director for the West River SD Fellowship of Christian Athletes, 2001-15. Bob came on staff with the COIN in February 2016 and brings it to the Midwest. He is partnering with Wade Salem, (CM). COIN and CM are transforming the world one coach at a time, one team at a time, one player at a time!
